Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

Did you know that we ADDers are perfectionists?

Yes, it’s true.

Now if you’re sitting in a room anything like the one I’m sitting in at the moment, you might doubt that statement. But still it’s true.

See, being a perfectionist is not about being perfect. It’s about trying to be perfect. And for us, not trying at all because we can’t do it perfectly. Or being overwhelmed because we can’t be perfect.

I’ve been going through that struggle a lot lately when it comes to ADD Moms and ADD Student.

You see, I have a lot of changes (ch-ch-ch-changes) that I want to make, but I don’t know where to begin.

I think that making changes to the site design would help, but I don’t really know how.

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking and being confused instead of doing.

So here’s the thing: in the next week or so, I’m going to start throwing things out there. They’ll show up on the sites, and hopefully won’t be too confusing, but at least they will be there.

I want to start coaching again, but in a different way. And I want to help more, which means stepping out of my comfort zone.

In other words, I want to do what I set out to do when I started coaching: I want to help people with ADHD live saner lives, feel more in control, and feel better about themselves. And I want to do it beyond just a blog post now and then.

All of the changes I want to make are positive ones and hopefully ones that you can benefit from.

But they’re not going to be pretty. I want them to be, but I’m not sure I know how.

So bear with me during my “remodeling” phase for the next week or so.

And I would love to hear your ideas. Please?
