Habit Hacker

Yesterday I wrote a post about the Home Routines app for iPod.

At the end of the article, I posted a quote from Habit Hacker basically saying that if you don’t have an iPhone, it would be worth it to get one just to use this app.

After writing the post, I visited the Home Routines site and took a look at the Resources section. Apparently you can use your Home Routines app to follow one or all of Habit Hacker’s 90 day streams to improve your life.

Here is how Habit Hacker puts it:

Habithacker is a free service designed to get your habits and routines on autopilot…so you’ll have more time for creative endeavors. Because the art of habit leads to the habit of art. And creativity thrives where clutter doesn’t.

Note: if you’re a typical ADD Mom, you’ll want to sign up for all of it at once. This will lead to overwhelm and chaos in a very short time. DON”T DO IT.

Start with the Household Routines app, and if you want, use Habit Hacker’s Nest stream to help you along. Habit Hacker’s service is free and there is an article about how to incorporate her Nest stream into your Home Routines app.

I was attracted to Habit Hacker’s 90 day programs because I like the idea of incorporating creativity into your life. I believe that we all (especially ADD Moms) have some creativity in us. And I think it’s a very necessary and healthy thing to express it.

I also like that Habit Hacker helps you work on good things like eating healthy food, exercising, and even looking your best.

I think that Habit Hacker totally has we ADD Moms figured out. We need her and lucky for us, she’s there for us.

  1. Hello Brenda.
I’m Habithacker! I’m thrilled you found my website and think it’s useful. I do believe it’s especially good for those with ADD. I happen to come from a family with a number of fabulous, creative ADDers. It’s got to be fun or it’s not gonna fly, right?

I hope you and your readers will let me know what works and what doesn’t on my website. I have to mention that I love your tag line. Yes…CELEBRATE life with ADHD!

  2. Hi Jean! Thanks for stopping by!

I really do love your website and it sounds like you know what we ADDers are like. I think that people with ADHD are very creative – we just need to express it more often. And with a site like yours, we can.
