Are You A Family Manager?

Jump to:

Family Manager to me equals mom, so that means that I qualify.

A Family Manager is pretty much responsible for running the household. Cleaning, finances, scheduling, meal planning and more. And while I’m not as bad at it as I used to be, there’s always room for improvement.

The Family Manager System is a program created by Kathy Peel based on her book, “The Busy Moms Guide to a Happy, Organized Home”.

She also teaches others how to apply her system as a Family Manager Coach – sort of like a professional organizer.

The Family Manager System covers 7 areas of home management:
* Home & Property
* Food & Meal Planning
* Finance
* Friends & Family
* Time & Scheduling
* Special Events
* Self-Management

My friend Sarah Zeldman from Solutions for Busy At-Home Moms is a trained Family Manager Coach, and she recently offered several people an opportunity to work with her for free.

Lucky for me I got in on the deal and I’m going to be sharing my experience with you. I don’t know when we’re going to get started, but I’m sure it will be soon. I promise to be truthful with you and share what’s happening – I’ll even tell you about the real condition of my house!

So if family management is something you need to improve on (I think that’s true for most ADDers) then keep checking back.
