An ADD Horoscope

Jump to:

Do you read your horoscope? I do everyday; it shows up on my homepage. Of course, I only beleive it if I like what it says. 🙂

I thought today’s horoscope was particularly relevant (it’s from Yahoo), not only for me, but for all of you too. Here it is:

August 03, 2008
Virgo (8/23-9/22)
Having a messy car or bedroom sure isn’t the end of the world, but isn’t it nice to see order and cleanliness around you? Always being surrounded by clutter or a mess might not consciously bother you, but you will think more clearly if you have less disorganization to distract you. Spend a little time cleaning up your world. Tidy up here and there. You don’t have to scrub and scour every surface — just create more open spaces and clean visuals. You’ll feel a lot more relaxed when you do.

Today’s horoscope is particularly relevant to me because I have been doing a lot of cleaniing and tidying up lately, and I can tell you, it really does make a difference in how you feel.

I don’t have to tell you that people with Attention Deficit Disorder tend to be on the messy side. Surely you’ve noticed that by now.

Because we have a tendency to lose things, or forget them entirely, we often try to solve the problem by leaving things out in the open. You know, out of sight, out of mind?

In a very short while, of course, what you end up with is visual clutter. So many things left out in the open just blend together into one big, unrecognizable mess, leaving us back where we started.

So how about today, just for an hour or so, you pretend to be a Virgo, and see if you can’t find one little mess somewhere that you can tidy up? Be sure it’s one that you see a lot, or that really bothers you. You’ll feel so much better afterwards.
