Yep, that’s me. Brenda Nicholson, in real life.
No makeup, no filters, not even a shower. (Hey – I’m being real here.)
For a long time, this blog, and everything associated with it, has been neglected.
You may have noticed that I’ve been updating the way An ADD Woman looks and feels, and I’ve started on my Facebook page too.
I’m writing this post to let all of you know what’s going on, and what has been going on.
I’ve tried to keep up with everything – the blog, the social media, the newsletter – but life got in the way and I just couldn’t anymore.
Here’s the short version:
A few years ago, my dad moved in with us. That can be a difficult situation for anyone, but when you and your parent have issues, it’s harder.
My dad got sick a while after that, and after being ill for many months, he passed in August of 2015.
Our youngest daughter Caitlin got engaged that New Year’s Eve and got married the following August of 2016 in San Diego. That was a crazy busy year.
Last November 2017, Caitlin passed away suddenly in California. Although the cause of death is undetermined, we believe it was an aneurysm. She was 29.
As you might imagine, my whole world has changed.
With the help of friends, family, and a good therapist, I am ready to start living again.
And that means rebuilding this blog and this business.
I hope to have a new set of products and services, plus some freebies, for you starting in January 2019. I’d love to hear your ideas about what you need.
And in the meantime, I’ll be here, and on social media, writing posts again and updating you on all things ADHD.
