Happy 2012!

Happy New Year! I hope that your New Years celebrations were happy and safe.

You know most of us look at the new year as a new beginning. A chance to do things better than we did the year before.

You know all about New Years Resolutions. I think most people tend to slip on those around February.

This year, why not try something different?

Instead of making a list of yearlong things to accomplish, why not aim for smaller ones?

Instead of “lose 30 lbs by June”, how about “put more vegetables into my diet in January”?

Instead of “cleaning out all of the clutter in the house”, how about “spend 30 minutes per week clearing out one area of clutter”?

As ADDers, we get excited by new projects and the possibility of change. Once we get into something, though, we often fail to see it through to completion.

Why not try things that work with your personality and your ADHD instead of against it?

Plan something small to be accomplished during the week. Then do it.

Imagine what would happen if you did that each week, all year long.

52 small improvements.

How much better would your life be?

You might even manage to lose those 30 lbs and clear out the clutter in your house, if you approached it that way.

Kind of like eating an elephant.

If you would like some help with this idea, you might want to consider my ADD Coaching Lite program. 52 weeks of small changes, $12.00. That’s $12.00 total, not per month.
