I do not collect your first name and email address for any other reason than to send you my newsletter. I would never sell or share your information with anyone. To me, that’s just wrong and I wouldn’t want someone to do that to me.
You may also notice the privacy and cookies policy tab at the bottom of the screen.
This site, like most, collects cookies – small bits of information about you – when you visit.
For instance, some sites will recognize you as a return visitor and show or not show you certain things while you are there. If you’ve noticed on Facebook, Pinterest, and many other sites, there are ads that seem targeted to you. They are, and that is a result of collecting cookies.
Recently, the European Union passed a law that requires what is called GDPR Cookie Consent. That is why you see more sites displaying the cookie notice. We are required to do so if we have visitors from Europe.
I personally have nothing to do with what information is collected or what is done with it. I do know that none of it identifies you specifically.
You may notice that I do product reviews once in a while, or just recommend something that I like and use.
Some of the links that I add in that post may be affiliate links, which means that I get a small percentage of the profit the seller makes if you buy the product using that link. It does not change the price to you and does not influence what I recommend.
I only suggest things to you that I believe are worth your time and money. Doing anything else would damage my reputation and I’m not willing to do that.
I always try to let you know at the beginning of a post if there are affiliate links present.
If you have questions about this, please let me know.
