Lacy Estelle is first and foremost a Jesus Follower. She is also a wife, a mother and An AD[H]D Woman. She began writing about encouragement, surviving an abusive relationship and parenting her ADHD kiddos (while having ADHD herself) back in 2017. Since then she’s published lots of content on those subjects on her original blog Mothering the Storm (LacyEstelle.com).
In 2018 she acquired the Blog An ADD Woman, from it’s original creator; Brenda Nicholson. Nicholson had since grown away from writing and teaching about ADHD in women, and wanted to pursue other passions. With the new site, and all it’s previous content Lacy did what most ADHD women do: She overanalyzed it, and procrastinated on utilizing it for 2 years.
Now, she’s decided to use the site to host her podcast, it’s show notes and any other events, tips, tricks, or inspiring content.
At the core of it all, Lacy is a woman. Just like you, who spent a large part of her life feeling like she was broken, or faulty. That she was careless, and lazy. Maybe even just a little dumb. But come to find out- she was wrong. She just had ADHD, was undiagnosed, untreated and was dealing with some insane stress from her impulsive, unchecked, unrestrained life choices.
Now she’s going to bare it all. Talk about it all. Discuss it all on her podcast, An ADD Woman.
Why? Because she wants women to know the truth about ADHD and womanhood. – and that is, you are a wonderful, amazing, capable, and inspiring woman. Period. ADHD is a part of who you are, and how you operate but it does not define your value.
