Wunderlist

Jump to:

Lately I have been having trouble keeping up with life in general.

The water bill was due. I knew it was due and went online to pay it. The dumb website doesn’t tell you how much the bill is and I didn’t know. Duh. I ended up calling the company to ask.

My daughter Sarah is coming to visit next week. I procrastinated buying her train ticket until there was only one time slot available.

I could go on, but you get it. You’ve been there, right?

So I have been looking for a better way to keep track of things I need to do. I’ve been using the To Do list on Google, but it just wasn’t working.

Today I found out about Wunderlist and I am going to check it out and see how it works.

Here are a few reasons that I decided to give it a try:

It’s free.
It’s available on almost every platform – that means that my laptop, iPod and Android phone will all play nicely together.
It has gotten a lot of great reviews from a lot of impressive sources, which means I can rely on it.

Signing up was quick and easy. I just signed in with my Facebook login.

Once I logged in, there were more features than I expected, including email. According to the knowledge base, you can send an email to yourself with a to do in the subject line and Wunderlist automatically adds it to your task list.

Checking it now…I’m trying this out as I write this post.

OK. It’s been about 10 minutes since I sent the email. So far, no luck.

I also noticed that I cannot sign in on my other devices because when I initially created my account I signed in with Facebook. Using my Facebook login information doesn’t work. And apparently I am not the only person with this issue.

I’ll keep you posted on whether or not this works out and what I end up using.

I am adding this part a few hours later. I still don’t have my log in issues resolved but I have to say that several Tweets to 6Wunderkinder, the company behind Wunderlist, were promptly answered by a real person trying to help.
