Redefine Yourself

Jump to:

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. Life has taken me in other directions for a while and I needed to go along, but you and this site were always on my mind.

One of the things that has really made me think and question is the fact that we, as ADD Moms, define ourselves within such narrow and negative boundaries. I am as guilty as anyone else, because I spend a good amount of my time on this blog telling you how to manage your ADHD symptoms.

I have begun to think of us, however, in different terms; in ways that are more positive, more authentic and more indicative of who we really are.

We are far more than our ADHD, and we are far more than just moms.

I’m changing direction here a bit, and right now I’m still working things out.

I’ll still be offering helpful suggestions on living with and managing ADHD, but I also want to concentrate more on what my tagline says:
*Celebrating Life with ADHD*.

Let’s learn to manage the ADHD symptoms that we need to manage to keep life running smoothly and then let’s celebrate the unique women that we are.
