Organize Your Bag

Jump to:

I have always been a woman who carries a good sized bag, usually one of those sloppy hobo looking ones. I hate square structured stiff bags.

The problem with a big old purse with no structure is that it can be hard to find what you need when you need it. (Geez… is my ADHD so bad that I can’t even stand structure in a purse???)

And I hate being that woman frantically digging through her bag looking for a pen or my cell phone or 25 cents.

Lucky for me, I found a solution.

Zippered bags.

Sometimes stores sell them as cosmetics bags, although I don’t use them for that. The extent of makeup that I carry is hand cream and lip balm.

What I do is to try and find several different ones so that I can tell which one has what in it. I also like them to look nice together cause I’m just picky that way.

I have a bag for money related things like change, dollar bills, and my debit card cause I hate wallets too. Again, its that structured thing.

I have one for stuff like tissues, cough drops, breath mints, and Ibuprofren. That’s my sort of medicine bag.

A nail file, lip balm and hand cream go in another bag and then I have one for pens and a small pad of paper.

It makes everything in my bag nice, neat, and easy to find, plus it makes switching bags a breeze.

You can find small zippered bags at most department stores and drug stores, but you can find super cute ones on Etsy. I’m just linking you to the search page, cause I didn’t want to give anyone an advantage (although I really like the one with dogs on it).

So head on over to Etsy and find some cute bags for your purse. You’ll be helping out a mom in the process.

Just don’t get that dog one, cause it’s mine…..
