31 Day Challenge: Day 17

I like to call this photo “Still Life with Caulk”. Isn’t it lovely? Sorry for the blurriness; I had to use the camera on my phone.

Can you see which side of the table belongs to me and which side belongs to my husband? I bet you can.

All month I’ve been talking about order, how to get it, what it feels like when you have it and when you don’t. I’ve also been talking about how things need to have a place in your home.

I’m pretty sure the caulk belongs either in the garage or the basement. I am absolutely sure that it does not belong on my entry way table.

By the way, this caulk was purchased on Monday. Today is Thursday.

And no, I do not accept blame for letting it sit there for days.

I didn’t put it there, it doesn’t belong to me, and I have no idea why it was purchased.

Just because I am the designated person to keep our home clean does not mean that everyone else can leave stuff laying around and wait for me to put it away.

Now don’t misunderstand. My husband is wonderful about helping around the house and he isn’t the only one guilty of leaving things out for days on end. I do it too.

All I am saying is:

  • It’s a problem we as ADDers need to solve in order to have a neat environment.
  • Real life is messy sometimes; you shouldn’t expect your home to look like a magazine photo.
