Do you know what this is?
And how this one is different?
The first clock has hands, the second is digital. You knew that, right?
But did you know that the one with hands – called an analog clock – can help you and your family stay on track with time management?
The digital clock is better at showing you the exact time; you may have to take another few seconds with the analog clock.
But here is where the analog clock shines: it has a face, a representation of time. You can see the passage of time more clearly on an analog clock. Glancing at a digital one tells you the numbers have changed, but it takes a bit of thinking to see how much time you have left.
An analog clock is actually a better visual aid. It’s much easier to see how far that hand has moved since you last checked it. And since we ADDers are visual learners, it gives us a much better representation of how much time we have left than a digital clock.
Think about a pie. An hour’s worth of time on an analog clock is a whole pie. As time passes, less and less of the pie is left. It’s much easier to see when you’re running late.
It’s also great for kids, even if they can’t tell time. They can see the movement of the hand and if you explain the pie analogy to them, they’ll get it.
Having trouble getting out the door on time in the morning? Consider an analog clock.
